Welcome to Durango School District 9-R's

Department of Human Resources!

Our department's mission is simple...

"To seek and retain a talented, engaged, and culturally diverse workforce that will make significant contributions to the success of our students."

In June 2005 Durango's Minority Achievement Task Force recommended that the school district,  "Actively recruit and hire more teachers with diverse ethnic backgrounds."

If you are a candidate for employment who can help accomplish this goal, please indicate your interest in a cover letter included with your application.

Please note that our office will be closed Fridays from June 9 through July 28.
