How do I update my applicant file for 2009-10?
If
you worked for the district in any way (other than in a substitute role) during 2008-09, you need to
submit a new teacher application form (found below) along with any
supporting documentation you wish to update.
If you did NOT work for the district in 2008-09, you can roll your
existing applicant file for 2009-10 via e-mail request to:
kschneye@durango.k12.co.us You may update any supporting documentation as necessary. Thank you.
Applications must be received by 4:00 P.M.
on the closing date noted.

HOW
WILL MY APPLICATION BE
PROCESSED?
Your
application
is considered
district wide. Upon receipt of your application, it is
scanned
into our applicant tracking system and your file is available to all
principals/department managers. Applicants are screened at the
department/building site by a screening committee and candidates chosen
for
interview will be contacted by the
respective principal or department manager. Please allow
sufficient time following a noted closing date to allow for the
screening process. Should a position be listed as "Open until
filled", your application will be reviewed as it is received and those
positions can close at anytime and you should not delay in submitting
your application.
I CAN'T FIND
THE JOB THAT WAS ADVERTISED IN
THE NEWSPAPER!
If you saw an
advertisement for a position in the newspaper and the
position is not listed, that position is now closed and has been
removed from this site. If a position
re-opens, it will be re-posted at this site.
